One city, many children

The story of the birth and development of Reggio Emilia’s municipal preschools and infant-toddler centres: a
broad research project bringing together the voices and thoughts of many protagonists.
A collective auto-biography, a passionate story woven with other stories in a long but thin fabric of silk threads as Loris Malaguzzi used to say:
“...a history made in this way could pass for a history that has travelled down the years and seasons... instead experiences of this kind, so anomalous, always walk on threads of silk”.
